Use iPads to transform literacy and math workshops in the elementary classroom! A third grade class of bilingual learners will be at WEMTA to show you how. Learn to digitize multimedia writing portfolios, integrate iPads into math instruction and use iMovie to address Common Core learning standards. Deepen collaboration between school library media specialists and classroom teachers, while utilizing iPads to boost English language learners’ academic achievement. Third grade bilingual teachers, Ashley Coblentz and Sam Tai, as well as school librarian/bilingual teacher leader, Jackie Moreno, will share student projects to bring the process to life!
