Celebrate Local: National Intellectual Freedom Initiatives and You!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Ever wonder about the various national initiatives sponsored by the American Library Association’s the Office of Intellectual Freedom and the American Association of School Librarians? During this session we’ll discuss resources for Banned Books Week, Banned Websites Awareness Day, Choose Privacy Week, and School Library Month. Together we’ll explore how you can use these national initiatives as opportunities to create displays, plan events, present programs, start discussions, and engage students—all as an advocate for Intellectual Freedom!
